Our Brewers

You already know our owners and brewers Donnie and Matt. Now we're excited to officially welcome Josh Miller and Ben Schamber to the Interruption brew team!

If Josh looks familiar, you're not wrong. He was the original head brewer at GNB, brewed with the Narrow Gauge team, and is excited to be back in the brewhouse where it all started for him. "Brewing back in O'Fallon feels like riding a bike - it came right back, and it's been a lot of fun. I'm excite to brew on a small system again because it opens the door for creativity."

And Ben - if you were a regular at GNB O'Fallon, you likely know him too. A longtime homebrewer, former part-time O'Fallon beertender, and a winner of the GNB Homebrew Competition. (Fun fact: Jen also worked with Ben's wife 16 years ago - small world!) "I love the details of brewing - trying new techniques, refining recipes, and sharing beer with people I care about. Working on a team like this, where everyone brings experience and no one claims to have it all figured out, is how great beers get made."

Donnie & Matt shared:

"Josh has an established reputation in brewing, and we're fired up to have him involved. Ben brings a long homebrewing history and gels really well with the team, and we're excited for the public to get the opportunity to try his beers."

We've had our first brew day and couldn't be more excited about the crew bringing Interruption to life. A mix of deep experience, curiosity, and genuine love for the craft - these are the folks shaping the beers you'll soon be drinking.
